The Crystal ball on 2006
Barron's Online: Why don't we just start with the global economy? What big-picture trends do you see beginning or unfolding in 2006? Karabell: I think, first of all people have been talking about globalization for probably the better part of the past 15 years. What is interesting is there is somewhat less talk, but there is a lot more globalization. We feel the same way, incidentally, about information technologies and the effects those are having on both domestic and the global economy.
